They are back at it AGAIN! Veggie Tales has brought to us their newest hit, Celery Night Fever. Just newly released on August 5th. We are already pretty big Veggie Tales fans so when the kids seen what movie was planned for our weekly movie night they squealed with delight! It could not have been any better timing because everyone was sick so a feel good movie was exactly what we needed.
(Please don't mind the ice cream face, haha)
If you are not familiar with the Veggie Tales series, they all have a life lesson mixed within the music, giggles & fun characters. Celery Night Fever was based on forgiveness. The real life situations easily relate to my children even though they vary in age. This movie focuses on forgiveness among close friends, best friends in fact. Taught through out this DVD is how to forgive and that God has forgiven us all, no matter how "unforgivable" it may have been. I think that friendship and forgiveness is a life lesson we can all use some brushing up on, young and old.
My daughter's favorite thing about the Veggie Tales series is the music. Celery Night Fever really brought the music that brings you to your feet. There is 6 new fun songs that everyone is sure to love. The music was disco style tunes, hence the name! :) Honestly I could barely refrain from busting a few moves myself, John Travolta style. Ha!
Celery Night Fever is about 45 minutes long, which is a great length to capture and keep a toddler's attention. My favorite feature was a silly song with Larry, Perfect Puppy, that I will be singing all week. Behind the scenes with Terry Crews, downloadable activities, sing along, and English and Spanish subtitles are some more features you can except.
All in all Celery Night Fever is a perfect DVD for your next play date, sleepover or even family movie night.
