Lets Celebrate being a Mom. :)

I very often think being a mom is played down in this society when in reality it is a HUGE responsibility!

Here is just a few jobs that moms take on everyday in addition to everything else in their own life.
Being a mom you are a lot like an Admin Assistance because daily you run errands, answer phone calls, organize and schedule normal and extra activities, pay bills, and fill out the endless paperwork, any moms with school aged children know what I mean.

 Chauffeur, I know every mom has felt like this. Whether it's to school, shopping, dance, sports practice, friend's house, and the park.  They say Moms spend just about as much time in their vehicle as a truck driver, how crazy is that?

 Next is probably the hardest of all. A Psychiatrist, Whether is it helping little ones understand their growing emotions, changing bodies or healing a first broken heart - Mom is always there to offer a shoulder to cry on, and give advice of course, even when they do not want it.

 How about a Referee, I know this job seems to consume a lot of my time. Literally and figuratively. Children fight and it is the job of mom to make sure no one is hurt and lessons are learned.

I seen this the other day and thought it was great...

So why not celebrate being such an amazing person? Did you know May 10th is National Mom's Nite out?

So many great new releases out for kids...

There has been so many great new releases for kids lately! We are HUGE movie people and just love having family movie night. I want to share two of the most recent ones we enjoyed!

Planes

If your little one was a fan of Cars and Cars 2 then Planes is sure to be a favorite!

Monsters University

Monster Inc. was always on top of our  list so we were beyond excited when this came out.

Here is the hilarious story of how two mismatched monsters met and became lifelong friends in a movie screaming with laughter and oozing with heart. Ever since college-bound Mike Wazowski  was a little monster, he dreamed of becoming a Scarer – and he knows better than anyone that the best Scarers come from Monsters University. But during his first semester at MU, Mike’s plans are derailed when he crosses paths with hotshot, James P. Sullivan, “Sulley”, a natural-born Scarer. The pair’s out of control competitive spirit gets them both kicked out of the University’s elite Scare Program. With their dreams temporarily dashed, they realize they will have to work together, along with an odd bunch of misfit monsters, if they ever hope to make things right.

Two for one, kinda day

I have been slacking on posting, reviews and everything with Christmas overcoming my entire being! So here is another one from Influenster. I received a Suave Family box..

Included was a Men's body wash which hubs said has a good manly scent and lathered just right. Next was a children's hair mousse that I use on all three of the kids, it works great for scrunching the girls hair or even spiking my son's hair, Smells yummy too! Lastly was a Sweet Pea & Violet body lotion, I am not big on floraly scents but love sweet pea! It was not too perfumery at all, made my skin nice & soft but did not leave that icky greasy. Overall we were all VERY happy with the products received and the best part is they are affordable! WIN WIN! 

Walmart has the Mens Refreshing body wash 12 oz for $1.88, wow! It is currently sold out online though. BOO! The Sauve Kids Cherry Vanilla Mousse is $2.98 online and is in stock. The Suave Naturals Sweet Pea & Violet body lotion 18 oz. for $2.50 but also sold out online!

I get so excited when the mailman comes with boxes and one of the recent things I received was the Braun Forehead Thermometer. It came right on time, Madison got sick the following night. I normally dread taking their temperature because my ear thermometer takes forever it seems on a cranky sick baby. This new forehead one if FANTASTIC! 

So lets go over the specs!

 What is a Twitter Party?

 A twitter party is a fast and fun virtual party, using the twitter platform. Usually held in the evening, twitter parties typically last 1-2 hours and are a wonderful way for people to connect and discuss a topic of choice. Most twitter parties have an expert panelist and party host to keep the party on topic.

 How does a twitter party work?

 Twitter users tweet with a specified hashtag (#) for the party, that will then link all the tweets to that party. The party host will announce the hashtag prior to the event. If you look online there are tons of twitter party calendar, parties are listed by the hashtag (#). Most you must RSVP for and it will tell you how to. Always RSVP, if you do not you are not eligible for the prizes. Users use their tweet chat client to search for the hashtag and join in the conversation. TweetDeck and TweetGrid make following a twitter party much easier, it puts everything right how you need it to appear.

What are the benefits of attending a twitter party?

Twitter parties are a great way to connect with new friends using the power of social media. You can interact with people who share the same favorite brands as yourself.  People get together for fun, friends and support. Often times twitter parties have some great prizes to give away.
