Who doesn't love to bowl?!

Let's go bowling!

Bowling is a great activity for the entire family to enjoy together. A great way to get everyone up and moving, being active regardless of the weather.

Bowling actually has quite a few benefits for children that most people are not aware of  such as hand-eye coordination skills when rolling the ball towards the specific pins/pins. Bowling helps develop balance when delivering the ball and patience when waiting for her/his turn to try. Teamwork is important in the development of a youth and bowling is at the top of the list.  When a child is on a youth bowling league, or just playing with family for fun that child will learn what it means to be a team member and how important they are to the rest of their team.  They will learn the score they have, no matter what it is, can help the team win, and it is important.  There is no member of the team that will be sitting on the bench if they are not doing well, unlike most sports now a days.  A youth likes attention, whether it is good or bad.  In bowling when a child is up to bowl, the attention of the audience is on them each time they are up to bowl. It is simply exciting to anyone. Myself included. ;)

I have recently come across the "Kids bowl Free" program. The program is away for bowling centers to give back to the community and provide a safe, secure, and fun way for kids to spend time this summer without worrying about the cost. Kids whose age does not exceed a limit by a participating bowling center in your area, all centers vary, are eligible to register for 2 free games a day, YES, EACH and EVERY day, all summer long, courtesy of the participating bowling centers along with the schools and organizations working together as a team.

There is centers all over the USA and even in Canada. I was very suprised with how many bowling alleys are participating. Check your area, HERE

It is a very simple form to complete and that is it, you are ready to bowl the summer away, completely free of cost. That is a value of over $500. They do offer a deal to add two adults to bowl all summer long every day, 2 games a day for only $25. What a great deal?!

Hurry on over to get your children signed up for the "Kids Bowl Free" program and choose the alley of your choice in your local area. Kids Bowl Free If you have any question I can definatly try to help you out, I have signed up my 3 children already for tons of summer bowling to come. :)

You can add them on Facebook or Twitter as well.

Stuart Stripe Review

This is a sponsored post that does contain affiliate links.

I received this product from Educational Toys Planet, they have such a great array of products that promote fun learning. Check out what they have to offer, Educational Toys Planet
This is part of their sewing and knitting toys they have to offer, interested in more, Sewing and Knitting toys. They offer learning toys from birth- 10+ at great prices. Normally you think learning toys and think expensive, not at Educational Toys Planet. They understand that it is important to be able to provide fun learning for your children without breaking the bank.

Meet Stuart Stripe..

He is an adorable sock craft that when finished he is a little stuffed zebra sock doll. Perfect craft idea if you have creative little ones in your life. This project is one that they create from beginning to end. The set comes with a pair of black and white striped socks, embroidery thread, a needle, stuffing and assorted buttons.

It does say on the box for over 8 years but all three of my littles helped with it, ages 4,6, and 10 and had a BLAST! It is a very hands on project and I think that was the most enjoyable part. It teaches different skills in sewing such as threading the needle, cutting, sewing a button, to actually sewing it all together. My only complaint on this project was the thread, it was embroidery thread so it was difficult for the little hands to work with, otherwise I recommend everyone with creative little ones to give him a try. Once complete you can give him any name you choose and he is sure to be a great snuggler and BFF.

You can find Stuart Stripe here, Stuart Stripe Zebra Sock Toy Craft Kit

ToyTainer- organization for kids.

This is a sponsored post that does contain affiliate links.

Recently I have gotten the opportunity to work with a great company that is relatively new to the toy market called ToyTainer.

ToyTainer is a new toy storage product that has recently launched in Target. The ToyTainer products make pack up time fun, in turn freeing up some time for Mom! ToyTainers come in a variety of styles to suit boys and girls aged 2 to 8 and combine play time with pack up time. The range is made up of a series of modular yet fun storage solutions that provide an interactive element to packing up, making it a part of play time (and giving you back your time!).

From top left I received, Fire truck Play 'N Store, Arcade Depot Grab 'N Store, Ice Cream Truck Play 'N Store, City Shoe Box Play 'N Store, Girls EZ Mat Play 'N Store, Castle Shoe Box Play 'N Store, Dollhouse Play 'N Store.

All of these items are only sold at Target and can be found by clicking HERE The products are very affordable ranging in price from $19.99 to $29.99. But really can we put a price on your kids happily cleaning up their toys?! I know I can't. That was a very constant argument in my household.  Now I said time to clean up and they are MORE then happy to clean up. I really like the idea of the toys being multi-functional, they can play, clean up and store their toys inside.

As you can see the Arcade Depot Grab 'N Store is the favorite! Its brilliant, everyone loves playing the crane machine. No quarters and you can play over and over. All of the ToyTainer products are durable toys, bright colors, and very functional. We have had some friends over last weekend and their children really enjoyed playing with them as well.

Here is a video for more on ToyTainer -

You can also see all of the products they have to offer on their website, Here
Or check them out on Facebook, Here

Finally..

As you can see, I thought up a new name. It came to me out of nowhere and I thought, Life with NO naps, its perfect! It sums up life as a mother and wife being so busy as well as that fact that after they pass through the infant and toddler stage then naps are somewhere in the rear view. My children are now a 4,6 and 10 so naps are VERY far and in between if ever. I really LOVE the new name and hope you guys do too. I thank everyone for helping me narrow the choices down, each one ended up having some reason I felt it wasn't right. So with that I have changed my Twitter name, you can follow me @LifewithNoNaps.I also have started a Facebook page that you can like Here. I am still trying to update my blog on all my other sites.

Things have been super busy around here. We got a new puppy, boy oh boy, I might as well of had another baby. I forgot how hard puppies are being our dog just turned three years old. It has been so time consuming trying to potty train and spread my time out evenly through out the puppy, other dog, kids, hubby, the house, and then all of my online stuff. Thanks for bearing with me. :) Here he is...

How can you resist that adorable little face?! I know I can't! :) I am not too sure how many of my readers are pet owners but I can use all the helpful pointers you have to offer.

In the coming weeks I have lots to share with you guys. Here is a sneak peak of some great product reviews to come.

Stay tuned! :)
